The Model WC5 showcases a modern, five-blade direct drive design for use in commercial spaces with low- to medium-height ceilings (approximately 14- to 20-foot ceiling range). With its sleek style and size options from 8 to 14 feet, the WC5 combines comfortable air movement coverage up to 54,900 Cubic Feet per Minute (CFM) with several color options. These fans are effortless to install with a total weight less than 100 pounds, the lightest among comparable HVLS fans.

EuroVent HVLS fans feature larger airfoil blades that are more consistent at slower speeds with less turbulence. As a result, these HVLS fans move air slowly in sensitive environments and increase power efficiency.

Standard Construction Features 
• Airfoil Blades: The unique, extruded aircraft-grade aluminum airfoil shape maximizes airflow and coverage area.
• Intelligent VFD and Motor: The factory-mounted, wired and programmed Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) combination provides the highest efficiency, low sound and ultra-light installation. Features include over-speed and impact detection along with temperature, voltage and current monitoring.
• Fire Relay: Keep your facility and products safe from the spread of a fire. The low-voltage relay can wire into a building’s fire suppression system to automatically shutdown upon sprinkler activation.
• Guy Wire Kit: Braided steel guy wires prevent lateral fan movement for safe installation.

With EuroVent HVLS fans, it’s easy to see and understand what efficiency truly means, down to the dollar. EuroVent HVLS fans generate up to 30 percent more airflow and only need half the amount of horsepower compared to other HVLS fans.

The Department of Energy (DOE) sets standards for efficiency in ceiling fans by measuring cubic feet per minute per watt (CFM/W) used to power the fan. All EuroVent HVLS fans cover nearly twice the DOE’s minimum standard of CFM/W.

Year-round Comfort
Summer Cooling
When temperatures rise, a commercial facility without air conditioning can create an overheated work environment resulting in lost productivity and inaccuracies. A 3-5 mph breeze created by a EuroVent HVLS fan creates a cooling sensation by as much as 10°F within the fan coverage area.
In air-conditioned facilities, a EuroVent HVLS fan supplements the A/C system and allows for a higher thermostat setting. Savings can be as much as 6 percent for each degree. EuroVent HVLS fans create a more comfortable workplace so employees can be more productive.

Winter Heating
In the winter, EuroVent HVLS fans mix the rising warmer air trapped at the ceiling with the colder air at the floor level. This process — called destratification — results is a more uniform and comfortable temperature from floor to ceiling. Thermostat settings are maintained for longer periods of time reducing energy costs.
